WWKiP Day 12th - 20th June

This is the largest knitter run event in the world and was started by Danielle Landes in 2005. The idea was to show true community spirit by encouraging normally solitary knitters out into the open to have fun and celebrate their fabulous knitting skills together. It started with just 25 events taking place, growing to almost 751 around the globe last year.
I love their statement 'Better living through stitching together'
As a mostly solitary knitter myself I'm afraid I'm not taking part in anything this time, but it has given me some ideas for next year............
